Golant is situated to the east of the B3269  Lostwithiel to Fowey road, turning left towards the village at the crossroads for Tywardreath and Golant at Castledore. Local bus services run from Fowey, Tywardreath, St. Blazey, Par and St Austell to the Castledore turning. Local taxis are available in Par, St Austell and Fowey.

Par, is the nearest station, on the mainline from London Paddington to Penzance and regularly served by trains from Bristol, Taunton, Exeter and Plymouth. Par also connects the mainline to Newquay. For train times please click on the link      Train Times
